Hello band families,
I hope everyone enjoyed their time off! Our first full week of school in 2024 is off to a great start. Please see below for some important updates for the spring semester.
Reminders
Solo and Ensemble money is past due. Please check this spreadsheet for outstanding fees. If your event has a check in the "Paid" column, you're good to go. If your event is unchecked, but your name is green, then the green name paid their fees and the other members still owe theirs.
Upcoming Events
Pep Band — The remaining dates are on the calendar and the dates/report times are in the document on Schoology. Remember, if you are interested in applying for a leadership position, you must attend five pep band games. There are only five left!
1/29 — Incoming Freshmen Meeting, 7p
Required for grades 9-11.
1/31 — Solo and Ensemble Recital — more info soon!
For those participating in S&E only, time sign ups coming soon! Students will treat this recital as a dress rehearsal for solo and ensemble. Students will dress up for the event just like they would for Saturday, February 10th. All parents and family members are invited to attend. This will take place in the music wing.
2/7 — Davis & Scioto Band Concert at Davis MS, 7p
2/10 — OMEA Solo & Ensemble
3/8 — OMEA Large Group Contest
3/9 — St. Patrick's Day Parade

Marching Band
Schedule
The full spring/summer schedule will be released next week, however, we can confirm our band camp dates as July 21-27 with leadership reporting on July 20th.
The 2024 show will be revealed later this month!
The leadership selection process will begin in March.
