PERFORMANCE
In addition to our concerts and football games, the Dublin Scioto Band performs all across the country. In recent years, the band has performed at Toledo University, The Horseshoe, Disney World, and the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade.
ACADEMICS
Band members are consistently some of the highest performing academic students in the school. Being part of the band community provides support and mentorship as students work towards their academic goals.
LIFE SKILLS
Band teaches students the importance of teamwork, time management, commitment, grit, and how to achieve long term goals.
SUCCESS
The Dublin Scioto Band is the most awarded activity at Dublin Scioto. The band has reached State Marching Band Finals every year of it's existence, won the 2024 Metallica Marching Band Competition, receives multiple Grand Champion awards and Superior Ratings, all while being fun!
FUTURE PLANS
Being part of the band shows colleges, academic institutions, and future employers that you are hard working and committed. Colleges look for well-rounded students who achieve success in various fields.
