Pre Band Camp!

General Announcements

  • The final payment for band camp is due tomorrow, 7/14. You can pay by check or on our website.

  • Band camp forms are due by Thursday. Forms must be notarized. We will have a notary at the school before practice this week.

  • Please review the band camp rules and procedures, and packing list. www.dublinsciotoband.org/bandcamp

  • The Band Camp Chaperone meeting will be held at Scioto on Tuesday, 7/15 at 6:30p at Scioto


Camp Information

  • Pre Camp has two rehearsal blocks, 9:00a to 11:45a and 12:30p-3:00p.

    • Colorguard rehearses from 5:00p-9:00p only

  • Every student needs to pack a lunch every day

  • Seniors will have a meeting after rehearsal on Monday to plan for band camp

  • The front parking lot by the band room is currently under construction. You will need to use the Athletic/Theater entrance to park or to drop off your child.


Daily Schedule

8:40 — Leaders arrive

8:55 — Arrive

9:00 — Practice STARTS

11:45 — Lunch

12:30 — Music Sectionals

3:00 — Students Dismissed


Materials

  • LARGE WATER JUG. You must have at least 36oz of water with you at rehearsal. Do not bring single use water bottles

  • Sunscreen

  • 3 ring binder with plastic sheets

    • Warm up packet (on the public drive)

    • Parts 1, 2, 3, and 4 (if available)

  • A good attitude :)
