Concert Week!

It's a busy few weeks to be part of the Dublin Scioto Band! Please see below for everything you need to know!


OMEA Preview Concert

  • Concert Info

    • Wednesday, 2/26 at 7:30p in the Scioto PAC

    • The Choir has their concert at 6:30, so there will be a little overlap with families leaving and entering for the concert.

    • We are sharing this concert with another concert band, the Winds of Ohio. They will perform first, followed by Concert Band, and Symphonic Winds closing the concert. It should last about an hour.

    • Wear concert black for this performance.

  • Schedule

    • 6:30 — Report to Scioto (E3/E2) for warm-up

    • 7:15 — reset the stage, take seats in the PAC

    • 7:30 — Winds of Ohio

    • 7:45(ish) — Concert Band

    • 8:00(ish) — Symphonic Winds


Updates

  • OMEA State Orchestra — Volunteers Needed!

    • We are in need of student and adult volunteers as we host OMEA State Orchestra this weekend! Students can sign up in the band room, and adults can sign up using this link.

  • Winterguard Performance, Thursday 2/27 7p

    • Come support our winterguard at their performance this Thursday in the Scioto PAC!

  • OMEA Large Group Adjudicated Event — Band Performance Friday, March 7th

    • Friday, March 7th. We are waiting on our official performance times, but we know that Concert Band will perform around 7:30 and Symphonic around 9:30. The full details will be released next week.

  • St. Patrick's Day Parade

    • We will perform in the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 15th. Details will be released soon.

  • JH Solo & Ensemble

    • We are once again hosting middle school solo and ensemble. This event takes place on the first day of spring break. Students, if you are able to, or interested in volunteering, please take a moment to fill out this form.

  • Jazz & Percussion Ensemble Concert

    • Join us for jazz and percussion on Wednesday, 3/19!

  • Marching Band Student Leaders

    • Information for prospective leaders in the 2025 marching band season will be released after Large Group.
