It's hard to believe that band camp is less than a week away! Please review the information below to ensure you are prepared for band camp.
General Information
I have updated the form for band camp payments. You can now make one, two, or the total payment in the same form! All band camp fees are due before you arrive at camp. If you haven't paid your fees by camp, please bring a checkbook with you to check in. If you are on an individual payment plan, continue to use the same timeline we discussed. You can also pay your fees online in the "Individual Payment Plan" form.
Please review all of the documents in the "Forms and Documents" tab on the band camp page, here.
The Information Packet has payment information, the address and check in procedures, supervision procedures, and student responsibility guidelines.
The Mandatory Form Checklist contains instructions and all required documents to attend band camp. All required forms must be turned in before band camp. If you arrive at band camp with incomplete forms, you are not permitted to stay at camp. PDFs of the forms can be found next to the checklist.
Please use the Packing List as you prepare for camp. The packing list has been a working document for decades and contains a many tips and items that our students have found useful over the years. Most importantly, remember your sunscreen, LARGE water jug, instrument (and all it's accessories,) and your music.
Finally, please review the Band Camp Rules with your band member before you send them away to camp. These guidelines have been developed by Camp Bountiful and the band staff. It is incredibly important that we follow all of their procedures to have a safe and fun week at camp.
Health and Safety
You are welcome to pack snacks, drinks, etc. to keep in your cabins during camp. However, due to several allergies, absolutely no peanut butter, nuts, tree nuts, trail mix, etc. should be brought to camp. Food should be prepackaged and you need to dispose of wrappers as soon as you're done. Please keep in mind that you will be sharing your cabin with many band members and there's nothing worse than coming back to an ant infestation!
You will have plenty of opportunities to drink water and refill your water jug during practice—as long as you remember to pack it! We provide gatorade several times during rehearsal, but it is not enough to keep you going during the day.
Seniors and Section Leaders Only
