7/28 Tuesday Sheet

Pre-camp is off to a FANTASTIC start! We are HAPPILY learning our show, learning music, marching (on the playground) and building great relationships. Please see below for important information for this week and band camp.

Updates

  • Picture day is being rescheduled. I apologize for the delay in this, but the week-by-week extention of the building construction has made our uniforms inaccessable and communication difficult.

  • Please take a moment to finish paying your band fees on the fees tab of the band website. Email Ms. Aubihl with any questions.

Zoombezi Bay

  • We have additional tickets if any student has changed their mind and would like to attend!

  • We are not providing transportation for this event.

  • Plan to arrive at 10:45 for a group photo and to receive your ticket. I've read that if you're just dropping off, you do not need to pay for parking. Talk to a booth attendant at the gate and you should be able to drop off your child. If you plan to drive and stay, you will need to pay for parking.

  • We will have 7 chaperones on site, as well as all directors, to help students. Students will be provided the phone numbers of their chaperones in the event of an emergency. We are also providing the park our emergency medical forms.

  • There is no official schedule for this day, feel free to stay as long as you'd like and leave whenever you need to. Our goal with this activity was to provide an opportunity for the students to spend some time together having fun, outside of the school. There are no official times, certain activities, etc. that we will participate as a group in at the park. Enjoy your time with your friends :)

BAND CAMP!

  • Band Camp 2026 starts next week! We are still dealing with building construction issues, so some schedule items are still up in the air. We are working closely with our administration to solve these issues and I will provide updates as soon as I receive them.

  • GENERAL

    • It is incredibly important that your child is at every rehearsal for the entire day. They will wake up feeling tired and sore — that's ok! They are working hard at practice and will likely be sore! The best thing they can do when they get home is to continue to hydrate, eat a snack, and go to bed!

    • It would be a good idea to bring an extra pair of shoes/socks or slides to wear on down time to give your feet a break. We also recommend a hoodie, extra shirt, deodorant, etc.

    • We will have some down time throughout the day. We recommend bringing some additional snacks in your lunch box!
